My work explores the complexity of the human spirit through abstract figurative forms. Each piece is a visual narrative of individuality- an expression of the unseen layers that define who we are, shaped by struggle, resilience, and transformation.
As a former interior architectural designer for over two decades, I bring a structural sensibility to my compositions. The interplay of line, space and form reflects my enduring fascination with how environments shape identity - and how inner architecture can be just as complex as physical space.
In my current practice, I move beyond literal representation. I deconstruct the figure, using abstraction to reveal emotion, vulnerability , and strength. My subjects are not portraits but echos of human experience- fluid, imperfect, and enduring. Through textured surfaces, layered color and dynamic gesture, I invite the viewer to witness the strength that emerges from chaos and the quiet dignity found in the imperfection.
Graduated with a Bachelors of Fine Arts, Interior Architectural Design from California State University, Long Beach.
